An artist is a designer when it becomes to Interior Design or we say a designer is an artist. When we throughout the process of construction developing the design within a space, with interior design, and their decors, we actually work on countless things to make a design perfect and approachable. WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DOES IT DO?

I am an Italian artist, I deal with sculpture and painting, more specifically I create three-dimensional glass sculptures using light.

WHY DO YOU DO AND WHAT YOU DO?

Good question !! I don't know I think I just follow myself and I express myself through art to communicate to people and everything I do makes me feel good, it's a life path with ups and downs for over 35 years ...

HOW DO YOU WORK?

In all my works there is, first of all, a study at the base, then the design phase, I often report the works first on canvas and then in 3D through sculpture.

WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?

It all stems from the desire to go further, to try to understand what we have been in the past, what we created is the right key to understanding the true meaning of our existence today, I have been studying Sacred Geometry and quantum physics for years.

Man has always tried to graphically represent images and concepts in order to express and pass them on, guided by feelings of creativity and sharing with others. The natural evolution of these representations gave birth to the more specific symbolism contained in Sacred Geometry. This is built respecting precise measures and proportions which are the graphic expression of fundamental symbolisms. The sphere, the cube, the tetrahedron, and the other "perfect figures" have always been the subject of studies and are still part of the symbology that underlies many philosophies, religious beliefs, sciences, and meditative disciplines. All the Matter of our Universe interacts with each other following certain patterns and rules, observable and inscribed in these representations that take on more complex, important, and profound meanings and concepts. The graphic design can be read as a moving frequency, as a continuous dance that presents in its essence an inseparable relationship made of Sound - Color - Number: this relationship translates into Music and Harmony. Sacred Geometry is the graphic visualization that allows us to express and share between different cultures, traditions, ways of communicating the same Aesthetic, Metaphysical, Mathematical, and Beauty values ​​that each of us interprets and lives in his own way.

The symbolism of sacred geometry, which is said not to be part of the hand of the human being but of God, who used it to create the Universe. This makes it clear how small the Earth is and how little our doing matters than the will of GOD.

Symbolism in sacred geometry is a fundamental part of our daily life, as we find every single shape in nature without even realizing it. In fact, in nature, we have geometrically perfect shapes such as for example the nautilus shell which is harmonious thanks to the golden section that regulates its shape and size, this constant regulated the development of all living organic forms, from the bone structure of man to the proportions of the human face, to the development of a flower, even in sunflower seeds…. arrhythmically perfect shapes in nature, geometric patterns of life itself. The golden section is also surprisingly found in biology, physics, painting, music, architecture, sculpture, photography, and even poetry. So much so that it has been associated since the most remote ages with the myth of an aesthetic canon of absolute beauty or of divine proportion, often attributing a false mystical-esoteric meaning to it. Wethereforeconstantlyfindgeometricshapesthatregulate the forms of living beings and all that surrounds us, rules, and formulas the base of everything.

WHAT IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF AN ARTIST?

It is essential to be curious, never stop at appearances, try to find the essence of things and people, have an extraordinary sensitivity, and never stop doing research, study, inquire, continue to have that boundless desire to know exactly how a child continually asks why it is. Obviously, all this is not enough, you have to be creative, talented, visionary to be able to get there before the others where nobody has yet arrived ... even if you often risk not be understood.

WHAT WAS A FUNDAMENTAL EXPERIENCE?

The fundamental experience is to paradoxically do something else. Do other jobs and always feel dissatisfied and then go around and understand that what you have always loved to do and that you did since childhood is your life, without it I lived halfway. ... I am married to art.

HOW DO YOU CHANGE YOUR PRACTICE OVER TIME?

It has totally changed, I have created many works in my life very very different from those that I make today. It is the continuous search for yourself that drives you to do it, I was a figurative painter, portraitist, sculptor, designer, passing through 2 triennials of Milan design and having great success with the creation of works painted on furniture but I felt that it was not the right way, I wanted to get to the essence of things so I began to study specifically conceptual, kinetic and programmed art and made myself account that perhaps through the latter I would have been able to find answers, I have always loved the light, it is an integral part of my works, it is not used as an end, it is the protagonist exactly like the lines that symbolize my works in equal measure.

WHICH ART DO YOU IDENTIFY MORE WITH?

As already anticipated, I certainly identify with the kinetic art, I am very fascinated by the evolution of the work from the viewer's point of view, who decides where to position himself and what to see, it is interesting how the work changes its appearance depending on the positioning of the beholder who becomes part of the work itself. The reflections are fundamental for my works, they are all made of transparent glass, mirror, and light, so there is also a continuity of the work itself that multiplies with the infinite on it.

WHAT IS THE WORK YOU LIKE TO DO?

But surely the most stimulating and interesting work is the design phase when you see something unique and pure adrenaline born and give birth to your mind, then the realization being quite long is certainly very important but the first phase, the sketch it's the most interesting part.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST SCAREFUL EXPERIENCE?

The scariest experience is sometimes life itself and what it reserves for you, I have had many experiences of great suffering but I try to learn from them without thinking too much about the scars, I try to transform every scary and negative experience into a positive flow to improve myself.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ARTWORK?

But in reality, they are different from significant and important, each work symbolizes a message of love, so they are very dear to me .. surely Metatron and Genesis are among the most significant works for me,

Metatron represents the union between female and male energy, it contains a fundamental word beyond union, that is, love, which is made of kindness, honesty, faith.

My otherworldly and utopian vision is a vision but I imagine for each of us, a Metatron angel who makes us rediscover common sense, made only of kindness, kindness, and trust for others.

GENESIS represents the principle, and in our molecules, nothing would exist without it. The cycle of life, always in continuous transformation and change, only makes sense thanks to the flower of life and therefore also to mankind.

Finding the true meaning of life itself, this is my message, a message of love and positivity because everything started from there, from the genesis and therefore from the love of life.

DESCRIBE A REAL LIFE SITUATION THAT INSPIRES YOU

In fact, I love the simple things in life, I have a wonderful family a boy and in a few months I will be a new mother to a girl, I believe that the family is the strength that each of us should have, because it pushes you to do more more, to give the best you have! So besides the love, I have for art I love everything around me, my family, nature, this gives me great positive energy. I let myself be inspired by everything that I see without any limit, in art the only limit is that there are no limits.

WHAT WORK HAVE YOU DONE BEYOND THE ARTIST?

Practically everything ... the waitress, the telephony sales manager, I managed for about 10 years a family business that dealt with design and furniture, I had a car dealership with my brother for another 10 years, then I had a design concept store, where I promoted my works as well as many emerging national level designers, but finally, I went back to my old love ... I always knew it but I knew it was the most difficult road to take, it is true e' ma is equally rich in satisfactions, the ART of being oneself and being aware of them.

WHAT IS AN ARTISTIC VISION OF LIFE?

Life itself.

WHAT MEMORABLE REPLIES HAVE YOU GOT TO YOUR WORK?

But look at reality I don't care so much about the answers that others give me, I believe that if you work hard and believe blindly in what you do and carry it out with a philosophy and a deep study behind you, the results come, In fact for me after years have come ... I participated in Affordable Art Fair in Milan, in September I will be on display in a splendid gallery in Milan, I was selected at the largest international competition of contemporary art Luxemburg art prize to be held this winter in Luxembourg, in addition to having already participated and won the critics prize for best three-dimensional sculpture in the Arte Salerno competition ...

WHICH FOOD, DRINK SONG INSPIRES YOU?

Surely psychedelic music inspires me, Pink Floyd I love them and I often listen to them, I am definitely conditioned by the international music of the 70s / 80s.

WHAT DO YOU NOT LIKE IN THE WORLD OF ART?

Art should be sharing, the union makes us all equal, everyone can make art and everyone can understand it, in reality, it is not so, itis a very difficult world to enter and is reserved for a few, where the old generations of artists jealously keep their place, which is also fair but I believe that the art world should invest more on emerging artists, there are many who are very good and smart but who struggle to make room in this market. The art market is not art, these are two completely different things, the art market is a system which unfortunately we must undergo but which has nothing to do with it.

WHAT DO YOU NOT LIKE ABOUT YOUR JOB?

I don't like waiting, itis a job that unfortunately requires a very long time, especially at the beginning of the artistic career sometimes you don't have the economic and psychological strength to wait that's why this job is also so difficult. if you are really sure of yourself and what you want to transmit, perseverance pays. It comes like a flooding river that overwhelms you and you must be good at staying afloat, never cradled, always continue in your search, mine and 'an art of introspection, I continually look for answers on existence, on who we are and what and who created us, I find many answers also in the quantum physics that has fascinated me for some years.

SHOULD ART BE FINANCED?

Absolutely yes, it is very important economics lice all over the world and the artists recognized as such should be financed and protected as a species to be safeguarded. Instead, unfortunately, it is not so ... they are exploited, denigrated, used, and then thrown away. Ancho and this has fortified me, we must know how to recognize the true professionals capable in the sector and there are pseudo gallery owners who sell their spaces, an artist should never pay to be in a gallery or in fair but often many artists while hoping to have visibility as well as investing in one's art pays a sick slice of the art market.

WHAT ROLE DOES ART FINANCING HAVE?

It is fundamental, large projects obviously need to be financed, I am sure of this.

WHAT SEARCH DO YOU DO FOR YOU?

But you know in life it also takes a bit of luck, knowing the right people at the right time can sometimes open the doors, obviously, all this is not enough but it serves, the important thing is always correct to have your own moral ethics, this always leads me to surround myself with real, sincere, professional people, because no project is born and grows on its own.

WHAT IS THE PROJECT OF YOUR DREAMS?

Thinking big, since they are dreams I never set myself any limits, surely I aim to export my art all over the world, giving a strong message of LOVE that can always be read behind every work I do, making us remember that we are not on this planet thanks to us, indeed the human being, greedy, cruel is destroying it, here nature rebels, pandemics, floods, earthquakes, natural disasters ... we should all respect it more and thank you as we are guests!

I would certainly like to work alongside masters on the international scene such as Paolo Scarpa, Alberto Biasi, Grazia Varisco ...

What IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN?

My husband gave me the best advice and he always supports me in the professional choices I make, "do what makes you feel good without worrying if you like it if it sells, if it is understood" ... you are right creating with this spirit my true essence comes out and I am at peace with myself and paradoxically everyone perceives it, when art is not made but collectors, gallery owners, professionals in the sector perceive it and in that case, you have only ridden the wave of the moment that will end soon.

PROFESSIONALLY WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE?

The direction indicates the method. It is not at the center of our work, knowing where you need to go is at the center of our work.

Surely I would be honored to be invited to the Venice Biennale, then as I said before, no limits, no borders, the beauty of my job is also traveling, knowing new cultures, India has always particularly fascinated me and I think it is very sensitive to the topics I deal with.

WHAT WOULD YOU NOT LIKE TO DO WITHOUT?

I could never do without my family and the love I have for it and for Art.
